Swinging carriage doors, opened with a button
A pair of real carriage doors on heavy hinges, swinging out the way they did in 1910, driven by an operator the way nothing did. Painted or stained, with a lite band or without, and a man door if the run is long.

Why swinging. The oldest garage door, and still the most handsome.
Carriage doors give a house a face: two leaves, a centre line, hardware you can see. Ours swing out on premium hinges with an operator that opens both leaves at once from the car, and they close against a weather stop so the garage stays dry.
They suit accessory dwellings and converted garages as much as period houses, because nothing hangs from the ceiling and the inside face is finished like the outside.
Board-and-batten, flat panel, chevron, divided lites, arched tops: any carriage pattern, in any of our woods or in paint.
